The Piner High Foundation is a federally tax-exempt, California not-for-profit corporation that raises money for classroom equipment and supplies that enhance the learning process for Piner High students.
The Foundation got off the ground in September of 2002, by a hardy group of alums, staff, parents, and friends of the school. That group included founding president and a long time booster for the school Alicia Bunce, then a parent of a Piner student.
Early Board participants at various times were other Piner parents Steve and Carol Test, John and Jean Bryant, and Ron and Dana Scoggins. Retired Piner staff members included among others Ken Foote, Lee Torliatt, the late Bob Wycoff, Maureen and the late Dick Latimer, and Bob Zeni.
